Chair Deconstruction

“Chair Deconstruction” is San Francisco Dance Film Festival’s latest commissioned Co-Laboratory project, a unique process that pairs a filmmaker with a choreographer to create a short dance film over a compressed period of time. A two-part dance piece exploring communal healing, this film is directed by Oakland-based Amanda Beane.

This film features Embodiment Project artists: Nicole Klaymoon, Francis Aquino, Rama Mahesh Hall, Francis Cailles, Mindy Ng, Clarissa Rivera Dyas, L. Jenelle Gaerlan, Leah Worthington, and Tylee Styne

A screendance directed/choreographed by Jody Stillwater and Nicole Klaymoon and produced by San Francisco Dance Film Festival’s annual Co-Laboratory.

This film features Embodiment Project core artists: Rama Mahesh Hall; Amber Julian; and Jon Lee; as well as original music and performance by Valerie Troutt.
